HK Elite Pistol Heckler & Koch did not rest on its laurels after creating the impressive USP Expert target pistol, but rather forged ahead to create the even better USP Elite pistol by stretching the Expert's 5.2 inch barrel to 6.0 inches, which required designing a sleek new target slide. This load felt very controllable but functioned 100% and burned clean. No smoke or powder residue. Muzzle flash was visible but not blinding like the last 2 loads. Brass ejected with authority but not harsh. The highlight is the accuracy. It ain't easy finding an accurate load for JHPs and this one is excellent.

The gun came with two 12 rounders and the adjustable target sights which are a fair bit higher than standard USP sights. The grip is big and blocky, unapologetically USP. I have large hands so the grip is just fine. The trigger is the Match variant.

I have the .45 Elite without a mag funnel. Very nice sights and good single action trigger. I do wish it was a bit heavier and have looked into that weight as well but haven't plunked down the funds yet. I would also like one in 9mm.
